Recently, I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my WIP. I had ridiculous writers block. Nothing I did felt right. I was frustrated and basically ready to just ax the whole thing (again).
And then, out of nowhere, I had a revelation.
This revelation involved incorporating the reincarnation elements from the previous draft into the current draft. I tinkered around with this. And, suddenly, I had a direction. A path to follow.
And then my brain went crazy. I grabbed my planner and started jotting things down on one of the blank pages. By the end of it, I had a vague outline for not only my current project, but three other ones (two of which I have rough drafts for already courtesy of NaNoWriMo).
Now my brain is humming and I have this insane urge to write. And write. And write some more.
I’d probably better get on that.
